I love to write. I have always been a writer. I have made my fiction writing like reading, so it's the most enjoyable thing I do. I love everything about it. I write my novels quickly then spend months revising them so the reader can have the same experience reading them that I have. I have begun publishing short works on Amazon in addition to my novels. I have a backlog of work I am revising. I publish something new every month. Subscribe to my newsletter for book publication dates and for dates that newly published short works will be available to read for free on my web site.
I was born in Wichita, Kansas and got my PH.D in English from the University of Kansas with emphasis on American fiction and the novel. I lived in Charleston, Illinois for 20 of those years and taught at Eastern Illinois University. In 2014 we moved to Monterey, California, where I taught at CSUMB, I was active in Central Coast Writers nab published my first book. We now live in Hilo, Hawaii.
